Endless & Muzan Invitation

Anime Galaxies Endless mode guide: how far you need to go, when the Muzan Invitation appears, current drop rates and how to claim it in time.

Endless is the leaderboard mode and, more importantly, the only place Muzan drops. It is also the mode with the most misleading advice online, because the drop rate changed twice in three days.

How Endless works

It is a wave-survival leaderboard

Endless runs until your team dies. There is a global top endless list in the lobby showing the furthest runs, which is why the competitive crowd treats Endless as the real endgame — and why the “infinite mode” and “endless mode” distinction matters: Infinity is the portal farm, Endless is the wave climb.

Successful Endless runs pay DNA

Endless sits between challenges and raids on the reward curve, so it is not a wasted session even on a run that ends early.

The Muzan Invitation

What it is

An Invitation is an item. Around waves 40-50 (community-reported range), a small prompt appears above your team for roughly 20 seconds. Clicking it with an Invitation in your inventory grants Muzan.

Current drop rate: 1%

The developer raised it twice, and the patch notes are explicit:

Date (UTC) Change
2026-10-26 Invitation drop chance 0.2% → 0.5%
2026-10-27 Muzan invitation chance → 1%

Older guides quoting 0.2% are out of date.

The guaranteed shortcut

The INVITED code gives one free Invitation to accounts at level 100 or above. That is the single most valuable code in the game for anyone chasing Muzan — redeem it once you can actually reach the wave range.

Claiming it without losing the run

Have the Invitation first

The prompt does not pause the game. If the item is not in your inventory when the prompt appears, you cannot claim it.

Watch the top of the screen, not the path

The prompt spawns above your team’s position, and players miss it because they are watching the lane. If you are running Endless for the Invitation specifically, keep the camera centred on your units.

Do not stack up Invitations expecting multiple Muzans

Community reports say extra Invitations serve as extra attempts, not extra copies — you get the unit once.

Building a team that survives to wave 40

Control plus sustained damage

Burst-only teams die when the wave density outruns their cooldowns. A slow source (Fujitora, Megumi) plus a bleed unit (Muzan’s own kit, or Ichigo) holds far longer than three glass cannons.

Farm early, carry late

Speedwagon should be your first placement every Endless run: the earlier the economy starts, the earlier the carry comes online.

Nightmare practice first

If you cannot clear Nightmare story comfortably, wave 40 of Endless is not realistic. Practice on story Nightmare, where the failure costs a restart instead of a ranked run.
