Anime Galaxies updates
Confirmed milestones only: developer patch notes from the official Discord update-log channel, verified against the live game — anything else is marked inferred.
Anime Galaxies is hot and updated daily.
The team posts every change on the official Discord update-log channel. This timeline lists milestones we can confirm; anything else is marked "inferred" and needs in-game testing.
1M visits reached — 4K/5K CCU and 1M visit codes promised for the weekend
The game passed 1,000,000 visits on Roblox. The developer confirmed the milestone code batch (4K CCU, 5K CCU and 1M visits) is coming Saturday, October 31 ("or maybe sooner"), and asked players to keep reporting bugs. No gameplay changes shipped in this update — it is a milestone and code-scheduling post.
Hotfix: evolutions can merge with unevolved units, Stardust pity added
A dense quality-of-life patch: evolved units can now be merged with unevolved ones, a new Stardust pity currency was added, all in-game bundles were improved and more were added, stage info was added to the UI, the Muzan Invitation drop rate went from 0.5% to 1%, and auto rejoin was added so players no longer need a macro to get back into a run after a disconnect.
Hotfix: 2KCCU code, Frieza pity, portal replay, GalaxyAI
Portal and pity pass: replay and next-if-you-won were added for portals, the portal drop system was reworked after player feedback, Freezo (Frieza) pity was added, Ultra Gowko became a hybrid, inventory capsules gained x10 opening, the event UI gained event info, and a GalaxyAI panel appeared under Profile and Event. The Invitation drop rate was raised from 0.2% to 0.5%, auto sell on the last farm wave was added, and the code 2KCCU went live for level 25+ accounts.
Hotfix: Daily and Weekly challenges, autoplay settings, phantom placement
Daily and Weekly challenges were added (on top of the 15-minute rotating challenges), 2x speed now saves between sessions and acts as a vote in multiplayer, autoplay settings were expanded, phantom placement was added, the Pocket Galaxy button was made smaller, and an auto next setting appeared. The same day added a sell confirmation for Secret units, improved the mobile unit UI in the lobby for new servers, and allowed placement in a previously blocked raid area.
Update 1: PvP BETA, Namek portals, Bond system, Secret pity, 10 new units
The first major content patch. UI: drag-to-rearrange units, a profile screen and titles. Modes: a BETA PvP mode and Portal mode (Namek portal). Systems: level milestone rewards, Bond/Worthiness (playing with a unit improves your stat rerolls on it) and Secret pity. Items: Trait Changer (swap a trait inside the rarity you reached), Namek Portal (drops from Infinity on any map) and Invitation (the Endless route to Muzan). Units: Rare Krillin; Epic Nobara; Legendary Future Trunks, Shinobu, Rock Lee, Joseph Joestar; Mythic Tengen, Zenitsu; Secret Frieza (Namek portal) and Muzan (Endless). The page also shipped the MUI Goku event (Event Capsules bought with Rainbow Stars), redone maps and enemies, and launch codes GALAXYEVENT and GALAXYGEMS for level 25+. The developer admitted the new lobby and one new game mode missed the release and will follow later.
First milestone codes: 100KVIS and 1KFAV plus a luck storm
A 14-hour luck storm ran with boosted shiny, luck and drop rates, shipped alongside the codes 100KVIS and 1KFAV. (The developer first teased the storm as a one-hour window, then extended it to two hours and finally ran it much longer.)
Release: Anime Galaxies launches with Update 0
Anime Galaxies went live at 12:00 PM ET after a week-long delay, moving the project out of early access and off the old Champions TD branding. Launch night hit 1,064 concurrent players within minutes and the developer posted RELEASE and then 1KCCU as celebration codes. The release build carried the five-unit team, banner summoning (Rare → Secret), traits, stat rerolls, evolutions, crafting, the Index and the Season Pass.
Early access opens for AFK-chamber players
Players who banked the required time in the countdown's AFK chamber (12 hours) got early access a day before launch. The same day the game was cleared for all ages on Roblox, removing the temporary age restriction.
Countdown place goes live (place 83869074416117)
The current Roblox place opened as an "Anime Galaxies | Release Countdown" experience with an AFK chamber that unlocked early access. Roblox reports the place as created on this date, which is why a lot of sites list it as the game's launch — the actual release was October 17.
Release pushed back one week to October 17
The developer moved launch from the original date to Saturday, October 17 at 12 PM ET, saying the extra week would go into the UI revamp and the suggestions players sent after the trailer.
Anime Galaxies reveal trailer (rebrand from Champions TD)
The official reveal trailer introduced Anime Galaxies as a "gambling-free anime tower defense", and the developer explained the design goal behind the trait system: deterministic milestones instead of paid RNG, so "you will get what you pay for". This is also the point where the Champions TD project formally became Anime Galaxies.
