Overview
Goku is the headline Secret of the MUI Goku event that shipped with the first big patch (October 24, 2026). You do not pull him from the normal banner — he comes from Event Capsules at a 0.5% rate, and the capsules are bought with Rainbow Stars earned by playing the event and finishing its quests. He is the community's default "strongest hybrid" answer: he covers air and ground from the moment he is placed, but his upgrade costs are the highest in the game, so he is a long-term investment rather than a quick fix.
How to get Goku
Open Event Capsules in the event UI (right side of the screen, or the Gowko NPC next to the summoning area). Each capsule has a 0.5% Goku chance, so the realistic path is bulk-opening capsules bought with Rainbow Stars.
- Codes GALAXYEVENT, 2KCCU and 3KCCU each hand out Event Capsules — 10 per code
- Rainbow Stars come from playing during the event and from event quests
- Capsules stack in your inventory and support x10 opening (added 2026-10-25)
Why Goku is rated S
Goku is the only unit the community consistently calls a true hybrid: full air coverage plus top-tier ground damage in one slot, which frees a team slot other comps spend on a dedicated anti-air unit. The trade-off is cost — his in-run upgrade curve is steeper than Jiren's, so early accounts often get more value from Jiren first.
Is Goku worth chasing?
If you are already clearing Nightmare story and want one carry that covers everything, yes. If you are still building your first team, spend the stars on capsules only after your farm and control slots are filled.
